Criteria Classification for ERP Selection Using Delphi Technique

Resumo


The selection of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) must be doing carefully, as consequence of acquisition high costs involved. Managers of areas such as accounting, financial and, mainly, Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology (IT) need support and tools for ERP selection. This article presents a study conducted to classify the main criteria of assessment which can be used subsequently in analysis by Decision Support System (DSS), which will allow the assessment of adequacy and impacts on organization changes related to the final choice of the system. The classification was made using Delphi Technique, applied to experts in implantation and selection of ERP. The result showed be satisfactory in two rounds and demonstrated to be plausible their use to define the importance of the criteria. Among others, highlighted following criteria: functionality; crossed modular integration; suppliers reference; “implementability” and flexibility.
